Guam - Carl Gutierrez supporter and lieutenant governor's staffer Carlo Branch has filed criminal complaints with the Attorney General's Office, the U.S. Attorney's Office and the Department of Justice. Branch contends that as he was investigating various complaints and the Guam Election Commission's practices during the Decision 2010 General Election, he's learned that 19 individuals allegedly voted in the CNMI and the Guam General Election.
Branch put the GEC on notice that he's asked for criminal investigations to determine how these individuals were able to vote during the November 2 election. GEC Executive Director John Blas will present Branch's letter to the board today.
Blas says he doesn't know how CNMI voters would be able to vote on Guam unless those individuals lied when they registered to vote on Guam.
