Guam - Today the Guam Election Commission's board of directors met to discuss complaints by voters in the November General Election. The agency discussed complaints that ranged from accusations of misinformation by precinct officials, to voters attempting to "double-vote" to attempts by voters to vote without the proper and required proof of identification.
The members also discussed systematic problems that may have affected the election results. Improper training and inexperienced precinct officials may have led to discrepancies, members concluded.
The board did not discuss a lawsuit filed by Carl Gutierrez and Frank Aguon, Jr. before recessing for the evening. They will reconvene on Tuesday at 4pm.
