Daiso opens second location in Mangilao

Daiso is expanding with the opening of its second Guam location in Mangilao on Saturday, taking over the former Buddy’s Furniture Space next to Pay-Less. 

Construction has been underway since November, with the site strategically chosen to better serve central and southern customers. The new store also offers convenient access to students, with nearly 10 learning institutions nearby. 

Stationery remains a strong category, and the team is excited to provide affordable school, craft, and project supplies — with more than 95 percent of items priced at $2.

A 40-foot container carrying about 7,000 different items arrived just this past Saturday, and staff have been working to stock shelves ahead of opening. The team, recruited in January and trained at the GPO location, includes several UOG and GCC students as well as Mangilao residents.

Store hours will be 8am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and 10am to 6pm on Sundays.
