Guam military installations raise security levels as precaution
The Guam National Guard — along with all military installations across Guam — has raised its force protection condition from Alpha to Bravo as a precautionary measure.
As tensions escalate overseas following the United States and Israel having launched a major military campaign against Iran targeting what officials describe as key components of Iran’s nuclear and missile programs, the Guam National Guard — along with all military installations across Guam — has raised its force protection condition from Alpha to Bravo as a precautionary measure.
According to the Guard, there is no specific threat to Guam at this time. However, the increase reflects heightened vigilance in line with Department of Defense security protocols.
Accordingly, Trusted Traveler Program has been suspended. All visitors must now present valid base access credentials.
Personnel and visitors may also notice increased random antiterrorism measures at installation entry points.
