A simple bag — making a powerful impact. GTA announcing a $5,860 donation to Guam Animals In Need — better known as GAIN — raised through its 2025 holiday campaign.
GAIN is guam’s only nonprofit animal shelter, providing rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption services for abandoned and abused animals. The organization works to promote responsible pet ownership while caring for hundreds of animals each year at its Yigo facility.
The funds came from the sale of limited-edition GTA Gives Community Bags — sold at retail locations throughout the holiday season.
The reusable bags were designed by local artist Novem Gimoto — blending island creativity with community purpose. Proceeds from every bag sold went directly toward supporting GAIN's daily operations.
Recently, GTA representatives presented the check at GAIN's shelter in Yigo — where the donation will help cover food, medical treatment, supplies, and ongoing rescue efforts.
For GAIN, every dollar matters — helping provide safe shelter, veterinary care, and a second chance for animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through its GTA Gives initiative, the company says it remains committed to strengthening the island community — especially during the season of giving.
And it’s proof that when local businesses and nonprofits come together — the entire island benefits.
