The Department of Public Health and Social Services is alerting the public to a voluntary recall of limited batches of Gerber Arrowroot Biscuits due to the potential presence of foreign material, including soft plastic or paper. These materials may pose a choking or mouth-injury risk, especially for young children.

The recall applies to Gerber Arrowroot Biscuits 5.5-ounce products produced between July and September 2025.

Impacted products can be identified by specific batch codes printed on the back of the package, prior to the “Best Before” date.

According to DPHSS, recalled products were sold on Guam at K-Mart, Pay-Less supermarket locations in Dededo, Mangilao, Oka, and Sumay, and Super Happy Mart Tamuning. Retailers have removed affected items from store shelves.

Parents and caregivers are advised not to feed the recalled product to children. Consumers may return the product to the retailer where it was purchased for a refund.

Anyone with concerns should contact their healthcare provider. For product questions, Gerber Consumer Support is available 24/7 at 1-800-4-GERBER. For more information locally, contact the DPHSS Division of Environmental Health Consumer Commodities Program at 671-300-9579.
