The second trial for Rudy Fegurgur Quinata has been pushed back once more. 

Superior Court of Guam Judge Vern Perez set a new trial date of Feb. 26 during a pretrial conference Tuesday. A final pretrial conference is scheduled for Feb. 10, with jury selection to follow two weeks later.

Quinata is accused of killing former Humåtak mayor Daniel Sanchez in 2021. His original murder conviction and life sentence were overturned in December 2023 after the Supreme Court of Guam found juror misconduct, revealing that a juror was aware of Quinata’s prior conviction and incarceration.
