Man charged in 2024 meth case arrested again on new drug felony

A man previously released after being found with 12 grams of methamphetamine in 2024 is now facing multiple felony drug charges.
According to a magistrate’s complaint, 45-year old David Edward Rosario, was charged Monday with possession of a schedule II controlled substance with intent to deliver as a first-degree felony and possession of a schedule II controlled substance as a third-degree felony tied to the 2024 case. He is also charged with a new third-degree felony drug offense.
Court documents state that in May 2024, an officer found Rosario asleep in a vehicle near Route 3 across from Okkodo High School and observed a pouch containing bags of crystal methamphetamine. Investigators say Rosario admitted he was given about 12 grams to sell and provided a written statement confirming his intent.
He was later released during the investigation. On Sunday morning, police stopped Rosario for a traffic violation and allegedly found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia during a consensual search.
