WestCare Pacific Islands names 2026 board leaders

Westcare Pacific Islands is setting its leadership for the year ahead, announcing its 2026 board leadership and expanded regional board structure across Micronesia.
The nonprofit confirmed new board chairs for Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and the Republic of Palau—along with a regional board chair—to guide governance and ensure continued quality services throughout the region.
On Guam, Maria Leon Guerrero, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Bank of Guam, will serve as board chair. She brings extensive experience in finance, education advocacy, and community leadership.
In the CNMI, Tiffany Crisostomo, chief operations officer for business and quality assurance at the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation, has been named board chair, offering a strong background in healthcare operations, patient safety, and systems improvement.
Palau’s board chair is Sanya Mae Olkeriil, chief of the Division of Juvenile Justice within Palau’s Bureau of Public Safety, a longtime youth advocate and the first Palauan woman to graduate from the FBI National Academy.
Leading the regional board is Mark Mendiola, a longtime public servant and nonprofit leader, who will help guide Westcare’s mission and services across Micronesia.
Westcare Pacific Islands says the new leadership reflects its commitment to strong governance, local insight, and expanding its impact across the communities it serves.
