4.9 earthquake shakes Guam

The U.S. Geological Survey recorded a preliminary magnitude 4.9 earthquake at 1:53 p.m., located 71 km east-southeast of Yigo at a depth of 38.2 km.
According to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, there is no tsunami threat to the Marianas. No major damages or injuries have been reported.
The Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense reminds the community that when an earthquake strikes, follow the procedure: Drop, Cover, and Hold On until the shaking stops.
