Drunk driving crash in Dededo

Police say a traffic crash on Ysengsong Road near Parks Market led to the arrest of a driver who openly admitted he was intoxicated. According to a magistrate’s complaint, when officers asked the driver if he had been drinking, he replied: “Sir, I’m not gonna lie. I’m kind of drunk.”
33-year-old Rodson Ramsin, was charged with driving while impaired and driving while impaired with a blood-alcohol concentration above 0.08, both misdemeanors. Officers responded to the crash just after 5pm Sunday and reported a strong odor of alcohol, bloodshot watery eyes, and slurred speech.
A field sobriety test was terminated after Ramsin was unable to maintain his balance.
Ramsin told police he had been drinking from Saturday evening until Sunday afternoon, estimating more than a 12-pack of Michelob Ultra. A breathalyzer later showed a 0.269 blood alcohol content - more than three times the legal limit, according to court documents.
