The Guam Department of Education is highlighting progress at B.P. Carbullido Elementary School after the campus posted improved Public Health inspection results.
The school passed its November 2025 inspection with a score of 15, earning a "B," an improvement from its previous 28, or "C" rating.
GDOE says the improvement reflects continued efforts by school administrators, staff, and the Facilities and Maintenance Division to address earlier findings and strengthen health and safety practices on campus.
Principal Lisa Cooper-Nurse credited students, teachers, staff, and maintenance teams for the upgrade, saying the improvement would not have been possible without their collective efforts.
GDOE says it remains committed to regular inspections, ongoing maintenance, and collaboration with Public Health partners to ensure schools remain safe, clean learning environments as preparations continue for the next inspection cycle.
