Members of the community are invited to a free cultural activation this weekend hosted by gi matan guma’. 

The event takes place saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at sagan kotturan chamoru in tumon and will feature multidisciplinary artists and cultural practitioners from the 2025 mali’e’ co-laboratory.

The one-week artist residency centers on ancestral spirituality, ceremony, and creative practice, with participants sharing how art and culture can support healing, reflection, and renewal.

The activation is free and open to the public, with donations encouraged to support sagan kotturan chamoru. Dinner will also be provided by the site’s hotnu practitioners.
