Final Summer EBT eligibility claim deadline is April 11

The Department of Public Health and Social Services announced the final deadline to submit an eligibility claim is Friday, April 11, 2025.
Families who believe their children qualify for School Year 2024 Summer EBT benefit but have not yet received them must submit their eligibility claims by this date.
Summer EBT benefits will expire on Saturday, April 19, 2025 for individuals who qualify and have not collected their cards, or are unaware that they have funds to use with their existing cards.
S-EBT benefits are available to:
- Children who were enrolled and attended a school participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or School Breakfast Program (SBP) between July 1, 2023, and Aug. 21, 2024.
- Children ages 5 through 18 years old who were not enrolled in an NSLP/SBP school, but participated in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and/or the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program between July 1, 2023 – Aug. 21, 2024.
Additional Info:
- Existing Cards: Benefits for eligible children with existing cards were loaded on Friday, December 20, 2024, and can be used immediately.
- Children are only eligible if they are at least five (5) years old. Cards will not load the $177 benefit if the child is outside of the age requirement.
- HeadStart Program children are only eligible if they are at least age five (5) AND attended a school participating in the NSLP or SBP between July 1, 2023 and Aug. 21, 2024.
- New or Replacement Cards: Families without an active card must pick them up at the Department of Public Health and Social Services office, Room B9, at 761 South Marine Corps Drive, Tamuning, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
