Here are the island organizations that have made adjustments to their normal schedules and hours of operation after the governor signed an executive order placing Guam on a lockdown on August 21. If you have an announcement you'd like included, email it to [email protected].
TELECOMMUNICATIONS
IT&E's adjusted hours of operation for are as follows:
- AAFES
- Sunday to Saturday
- 10 am to 7 pm
- Harmon
- Open for customer support only
- Monday to Friday
- 9 am to 10 am for Manamko (ages 55 and above)
- 10 am to 4 pm for all others
- Agana Shopping Center

BANKS
- All First Hawaiian Bank branches in Guam will be closed from Monday, August 24 to Friday, August 28 at 12 noon. Please consider the following banking alternatives: ATM, Night Deposit, Online and Mobile Banking. Please visit https://fhb.com/COVID19 or our social media pages for updates.
- Community First Guam Federal Credit Union will be OPEN Drive-Thru Transactions Only on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Saturday, August 22, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. All member service centers will be CLOSED effective Monday, August 24, 2020.
- Bank of Guam (Guam Branches) will resume operations for today Friday 08/21/20 until 3PM. Tomorrow Saturday 08/22/20 Hagåtña & Upper Tumon will be 9AM-12PM. Next week, branches will be closed for one week or until further advised by our Governor. Contact center will remain open 24 hours
CAR DEALERSHIPS
- Due to the executive order, Cars Plus Guam will be closed until further notice.
2020 CENSUS
- The 2020 Census of Guam operations, including the call center, are suspended. During this time, the Guam Census Office will be closed. For questions, please email [email protected] or visit https://2020census.guam.gov
SCHOOLS
- The Archdiocese of Agaña’s Superintendent of Catholic Education, Juan Flores announces that all Catholic school offices and campuses will close at noon today in light of Governor Lou Leon Guerrero’s Executive Order 2020-28 on further restrictions related to COVID-19. Parents, guardians and families are kindly asked to pay attention to official email messages, Facebook pages, websites of their respective schools to obtain news about distance learning next week.
AIRPORT
- The A.B. Won Pat International Airport Authority, Guam (GIAA) advises of the following to ensure continued - although limited - services for workers, passengers and customers at the Airport.
- 24/7 Hour Operations
- Airport Operations continue with existing flights provided by the current operators for passengers, cargo and charter flights. Passengers are encouraged to contact their airline directly on the status of their flights.Food and Beverage operations will be active during flight activity. The GIAA Terminal Center, Airport Police Radio Dispatch Office and the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) unit remain operational 24/7. Limited food and beverage operations -as an airport operations passenger activity and support service- will be active only during flight activity. Other Airport offices will conduct business through telework Communications may be conducted during normal business hours of 8-5, Monday – Friday via primary telephone lines 646-0300-02. - Limited Entry into the Terminal
- In line with the need for enhanced protection of the health and safety of all airport patrons, only, employees on duty, active travelers, and persons delivering GIAA-authorized services to the Airport will be allowed entry into the terminal. Well-wishers, visitors, and other persons not conducting GIAA-authorized business at the terminal will be restricted from entry during this specific PCOR 1 period.
