Dueling retail giants, Lotte Duty Free and DFS Guam were back in Superior Court today for a status hearing on a DFS complaint that Lotte interfered when it won a 2013 airport concession contract.

DFS has added to its complaint and wants to move the case forward. But Lotte continues to argue for a stay in the proceedings pending the outcome of the airport's appeal of Judge Arthur Barcinas' decision to void the $140 million contract.

The court has allowed Lotte to remain at the airport while the High Court decides. DFS has argued that it continues to suffer harm the longer the proceedings are delayed.

Lotte is now in the sixth year of a 10 year deal. Judge Barcinas has taken the matter under advisement.
