Woman succumbs to injuries from Wednesday car crash

Police have identified the woman involved in what is now a deadly auto-run-off roadway crash that occurred this week Wednesday.

Pauleta Munoz Paz, 67, was driving along Marine Corps Drive when she crashed her vehicle into a concrete pole near Tropical Dive Shop in Tamuning.

Paz was rushed to Guam Memorial Hospital for injuries and died several hours later. An autopsy revealed the cause of death was multiple injuries.

The case remains open and was forwarded to the Guam Police Department's Highway Patrol Division for investigation.
