Guam - In less than seven hours after the polls closed, the Guam Election Commission and its volunteers finished counting all the ballots for the Decision 2014 general election. The incumbent Calvo-Tenorio team handily won the gubernatorial race over the Gutierrez-Gumataotao team, and incumbent congressional representative Madeleine Bordallo defeated Margaret Metcalfe.

The Proposal 14a referendum passed, meaning the use of medicinal marijuana on Guam would be legalized.

In the senatorial race, Frank Aguon Jr., Dennis Rodriguez Jr., Tony Ada, Jim Espaldon, Tommy Morrison, Tom Ada, Mary Torres Dr. Nerissa Underwood, Dr. Judi Won Pat, Michael San Nicolas, Tina Muna Barnes, Frank Blas, Jr., BJ Cruz, Rory Respicio, and Brant McCreadie were the top 15 finishers.

The one upset was in the attorney general race, with Elizabeth Barrett Anderson seeing a huge amount of support over incumbent Leonardo Rapadas.

The vote tallies are all pending certification by the Guam Election Commission in the next few days.
