Democrats meeting to finalize election roster

Guam - The Democratic Party is scheduled to meet this evening. Its central executive committee is meeting at the Sinajana Community Center where party chairman Rory Respicio says they will formally recognize all its candidates running for the primary election. He adds they will begin planning for several Democratic Party events including the Jefferson Jackson Dinner and its unity rally. The gubernatorial team of Gutierrez-Gumataotao meanwhile will hold its first pocket meeting Friday at the Muna residence in Mangilao. As for the republicans, party chairman Mike Benito says the GOP will hold a village meeting this Sunday in Agana Heights where residents can listen to the candidates explain their different platforms. He adds the Republican Party has calendar of village meetings set for the next few months.
