Delayed Real Property Tax statements to be mailed next week
Property owners waiting for the delayed Real Property Tax statements will begin to receive them in the mail as soon as next week, according to the Department of Revenue & Taxation.
The agency says the Board of Equalization unanimously certified the 2025 Real Property Tax roll this afternoon, a requirement before tax statements are issued.
As reported, the delay was due to a complex technical issue with its property tax assessment and billing software.
Governor Lou Leon Guerrero extended the payment deadline until December 31, and Rev & Tax waived all penalties and fees.
Rev & Tax says they “recognize the inconvenience this caused for property owners who rely on timely invoices for budgeting and payment planning, and appreciates their patience and understanding.
