Guam - The Civil Service Commission continues to process appeals filed by six Port Authority of Guam workers who were terminated last month. A status call for former Port marketing administrator Bernadette Stern Meno was continued until next week as her attorney was attending a court hearing.
Meno, Vivian Leon, Frances Arriola, Francine Roccio, Josette Javelosa, and Jojo Guevara were terminated after port management accused them of processing alleged illegal benefits for Meno, who claimed she slipped and fell in the Port bathroom and needed to go off-island for surgery.
The parties have until February 15 to file motions and the Commission is set to hear those motions on March 14.
