LeoPalace Resort Guam unveils new Asian dining concept at Okibi
LeoPalace Resort Guam has announced the official closing of Tenku Yuzen on Saturday, Feb. 28, as the resort prepares to introduce a new culinary experience.
On Sunday, March 1, the resort opened Okibi, a bold new asian dining concept inspired by the glow of open embers and the energy of street cuisine across Asia. The menu features Asian street-food–inspired dishes, elevated yakiniku, premium meats, and fresh seafood entrées designed for sharing in a refined resort setting.
The kitchen is led by newly promoted Sous Chef Thomas Diaz, who helped launch the concept and brings experience from more than ten restaurants over the past decade.
Lisa Diaz, Director of Food and Beverage at LeoPalace Resort Guam, said Okibi was created to offer a dining experience that is both dynamic and welcoming for the Guam community.
The restaurant officially opened to the public with a grand opening celebration on Sunday, March 1, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., inviting guests to experience the fire-inspired flavors that define Okibi.
