Guam leaders and representatives from professional organizations gathered for a proclamation signing, recognizing engineers, architects, and land surveyors. President of the Society of American Military Engineers Shirley Caceres emphasized the powerful partnership between the three professions.

"Today we proudly gather to mark engineering, architecture, and land surveying week . A celebration of the professionals who design our communities, shape our skylines and lay the groundwork of progress. Engineers store ideas into practical solutions, architects transform vision into spaces that inspire and serve. Land surveyors provide the precision and foundation upon which every structure stands. Together, these professions form a powerful partnership that drives infrastructure, development, sustainability and innovation. From the roads we travel and bridges we cross, to the homes we live in, and the communities we build their expertise ensure safety, functionality, and resilience. Their work not only supports economic work, but also enhances quality of life for present and future generations," she said.

With the proclamation signed, Guam now formally recognizes engineers, architects, and land surveyors, whose work supports Guam's growth and progress.
