Guam - Democratic Party of Guam executive director Carlo Branch was at Election Central at the University of Guam Field House in Mangilao through the night, keeping a close eye on the political races. Branch was pleased with the outcome of the election, saying the Democratic Party's mission was to maintain the majority in the legislature and send a Democrat to Congress.
He told KUAM News, "Obviously 10-5 would have been great, but we faced a very serious, very well-funded very organized opposition in Adelup, and we're extremely thankful. It looks like at least at some degree that the Republicans turned on each other and the Democrats were able to hold together for the most part."
