D12 recount update
Results from Precinct 4 have been released and according to the Guam Election Commission there are still some discrepancies.
By KUAM NewsGuam - Results from Precinct 4 have been released and according to the Guam Election Commission there are still some discrepancies. The GEC will most likely conduct the hand recount on this precinct. GEC legal counsel Patrick Civille notes there's no determination yet if it will make a difference in the placing but looking through the results, there are 14 in the legislative race results that show a difference from the original count from Super Tuesday. They are now tabulating Precinct 6 from Umatac.
Precinct 4 had shown obvious corruption in data that showed democrat incumbent Adolpho Palacios receiving zero votes, but with the new count it shows him receiving 264. Democrat Leah Beth Naholowaa previously had one vote now it shows her with 178. Democrat Agat mayoral candidate Bill Cundiff previously had 14 votes, he now has 208. Comparing the old count to the new count, there are 14 people from the legislative race that have two different counts. Republican congressional candidate Frank Blas, Jr. also had a different count from the old count.
