Guam - In-office voting and homebound voting officially starts Monday with the Guam Election Commission. Executive director Maria Pangelinan says these options are encouragement and incentive for voters who cannot make it to the polls on November 6 between the hours of 7 in the morning and 8 in the evening.

She told KUAM News, "One that you're going to be off-island, two that you're an individual with disability and three your work schedule doesn't permit you to come to the polling place."

Homebound voting meanwhile is for voters who cannot physically make it to the polls or the GEC's Hagatna offices in the GCIC Building. She adds while the Decision 2012 General Election is not a holiday, the law requires employers to give their employees whose work schedule conflicts at least two hours to vote. Prior to the Primary Election, over 400 cast their vote through in-office voting whereas over 100 used homebound voting.
