Guam - The Guam Election Commission received another comment on Proposal 'A' from retired Veterans Affairs director Juan Blaz in favor of the for-profit bingo initiative. In his 500-word essay, he notes that by promoting bingo as another entertainment option we can increase investment in our island's tourism industry which will create jobs and additional revenues for our government to provide needed services to all residents.

GEC executive director Maria Pangelinan meanwhile stated that Archbishop Anthony Apuron has decided to withdraw his argument against the initiative. Comments meanwhile for or against the initiative are due Saturday at the GEC by 5pm.
