Guam - A man who was caught trying to bring 500 rounds of ammunition to Chuuk on an aircraft was sentenced to a probation term of 18 months. Nario Eter pleaded guilty to entering an aircraft or an airport area in violation of security requirements. He managed to bring the ammunition in his carry on luggage from Oregon to Guam, before he was caught.
The government recommended a probation term of two years while the defense requested only one year. The judge sentenced Eter to 18 months probation but he is allowed to request for early termination of probation after successfully completing one year.
