The Guam Behavioral Health & Wellness Center announces that 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline phone services in Guam have been fully restored and are now operating at normal capacity.

Individuals can once again call or text 988, or access chat services through 988lifeline.org, for uninterrupted crisis support.

Recent telecommunications disruptions have been resolved. The 988 lifeline remains a free, confidential resource available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone experiencing emotional distress, suicidal thoughts, substance use crises, or other mental health challenges.

Community members are also reminded that the Mobile Crisis Response Team can be accessed by dialing 988 for in-person, community-based crisis assistance.

gbhwc thanks the community for its patience during the temporary interruption and reaffirms its commitment to ensuring reliable access to crisis services across Guam.

If you or someone you know needs help, support is just a call or text away at 988.
