The Department of Public Health and Social Services is bringing health and social services directly into the community.

Led by its community health center, DPHSS is inviting residents to attend the Piti Village Outreach Event on Friday, Feb. 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Piti Social Hall.

The event is part of dphss’s effort to provide essential health and social service resources within Guam's villages. Families are encouraged to attend and take advantage of free education, information, and on-site services.

Services available include immunizations for children two months to eighteen years old who are enrolled with Medicaid, MIP, or have no insurance, as well as free adult and children’s physical exams.

Attendees can also receive education on diabetes, tobacco, and hypertension, along with program eligibility assessments for breast and cervical cancer screening and the women, infants, and children program.

Information and general assistance will be available for child care services, mental health and primary care, aging programs, nutrition assistance, employment programs, and other support services offered by DPHSS.

DPHSS reminds parents to bring a child’s birth certificate, current shot record, and valid photo identification for immunizations. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or authorized adult.

This marks DPHSS’s 4th village outreach event for fiscal year 2026, aimed at making health and wellness services more accessible to Guam's communities.
