A 27-year-old woman is facing felony charges after a December assault that sent another woman to the hospital.  According to a magistrate’s complaint filed in superior court, Kyanna Lynn Wulf was charged Tuesday with aggravated assault as a second-degree felony.

Police were called to Dededo around 6:20 p.m. on December 20, where witnesses reported a couple arguing outside a residence. Investigators say Wulf arrived at the scene armed with what appeared to be an adjustable wrench and struck the woman in the head three times.

The victim was taken to Guam Regional Medical City with a head wound. The woman’s boyfriend told officers he tried to intervene and felt blood on his shoulder after the attack.

Wulf fled the scene, prompting an all-points bulletin. When she was arrested Sunday, she told investigators she did not know why she assaulted the woman, but admitted the two “do not get along,” according to court documents.
