Guam Regional Medical City announced that Dr. J. Reinier F. Narvaez was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, one of the highest professional distinctions in surgery.

Dr. Narvaez earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco and is board-certified in general surgery and surgical critical care by the American Board of Surgery. He practices at GRMC, where he specializes in trauma and emergency surgery, and is a member of the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma and the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma.

The American College of Surgeons Guam Chapter, founded by Dr. Ricardo Eusebio, is now led by GRMC surgeon Dr. Christian Eusebio, continuing efforts to promote excellence and ethical standards in surgical care in the region

GRMC officials say Dr. Narvaez’s induction reflects the hospital’s commitment to providing world-class surgical care for Guam and the Marianas.
