BP Carbullido Elementary School makes significant improvements to their Public Health Inspection results

B.P. Carbullido Elementary School has successfully passed its November 2025 Public Health inspection with a grade of “15/B,” marking an improvement from the school’s previous “28/C” rating.
This improved inspection result reflects the continued efforts of school administrators, staff, and the Facilities and Maintenance Division to address prior findings and strengthen health and safety practices on campus.
Corrective actions were implemented through established protocols to ensure compliance with public health standards and to provide a safe, clean learning environment for students and staff.
“Thank you to all those who helped prepare the school and keep it maintained. The improvement of the letter grade from a C to a B would not be accomplished without the help of the students, teachers, staff and GDOE Facilities and Maintenance.” Said Principal Lisa Copper-Nurse.
GDOE remains committed to supporting schools through regular inspections, ongoing maintenance, and collaboration with public health partners to sustain and further improve compliance across the district.
The department congratulates B.P. Carbullido Elementary School on this achievement and encourages continued diligence as preparations begin for the next inspection cycle.
