Man charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct

A man is facing 2 counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct and second degree custodial interference as a third degree felony following a missing child investigation in Sinajana.
According to court documents, Guam Police responded to a report of a missing 12-year-old girl during the early morning hours of January 11. Officers later located the child at the residence of Jayton Ray Crisostomo.
Officers interviewed the girl who said she had been contacted through social media by Crisostomo but they did not know each other. He asked her out on a date,and he showed up at her residence at around 1:00 a.m. and she left her home in a car with Crisostomo. And another man. She told them she was 12 years old.
At his residence, Crisostomo sexually assaulted the victim. Crisostomo gestured to the victim to keep quiet when the police showed up at his residence.
The victim was transported to Guam Memorial Hospital because she complained of pain.
The case remains under investigation. Authorities remind parents and guardians to monitor online interactions and report suspicious activity immediately to police.
