The Guam Memorial Hospital Authority is working with island partners to strengthen Guam’s emergency preparedness.
GMHA joined healthcare providers and first responders for a federally funded hazard vulnerability assessment, focused on identifying risks and improving coordination during disasters and public health emergencies.
Interim CEO Dr. Joleen Aguon says preparedness is central to GMHA's mission, while Governor Lou Leon Guerrero and Lieutenant Governor Josh Tenorio emphasized that collaboration helps protect patients, families, and frontline workers.
GMHA says these joint efforts are key to keeping Guam’s healthcare system ready when emergencies strike.
