The Guam Memorial Hospital Authority is celebrating a major honor for one of its own. GMHA says Dr. Nam T. Vo has been named Guam Pharmacist of the Year by the Guam Pharmacists Association—recognizing his leadership, dedication to patient safety, and contributions to healthcare on the island.

Hospital leaders say Dr. Vo has served GMHA since 2016, helping advance medication safety, critical care support, pharmacy education, and workflow innovation. Interim CEO and administrator Dr. Joleen Aguon called him a shining example of clinical excellence and compassionate leadership.

Dr. Vo says he’s deeply honored—and hopes the recognition inspires future pharmacists to lead with integrity and continue uplifting Guam’s health.
