Toys for Tots reaches the Marianas
The Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots campaign is wrapping up its 15th year on Guam, delivering holiday hope to children across the Marianas.
Launched November 17th, Marines, sailors, and civilian partners at Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz worked on an accelerated timeline — coordinating toy drives, packing shipments, and traveling between islands to reach families in Guam, Saipan, Rota, and Tinian.
So far, more than 10,000 toys have been collected, with over 1,000 already distributed to the CNMI, and additional deliveries underway.
Camp Blaz commanding officer Colonel Richard Marshall, Jr. says the mission is about restoring faith and hope for children during the holiday season — reminding them they are seen and supported.
Through partnerships with the Guam Chamber of Commerce, the Salvation Army, and Catholic Social Services, Marines continue a 78-year toys for tots legacy, spreading joy across the Marianas just in time for Christmas.
