USS Abraham Lincoln Strike Group arrives on Guam

The Nimitz-Class Aircraft Carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and its strike group have arrived in Guam for a scheduled port visit. The carrier, flagship of Carrier Strike Group 3, is joined by several guided-missile destroyers as part of routine operations in the U.S. Seventh Fleet area of responsibility.

Navy leaders say the visit underscores the United States’ commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific, while highlighting Guam’s strategic role as a key hub for command, logistics, and power projection.

The Abraham Lincoln is the second aircraft carrier to visit Guam this month, following the arrival of the USS George Washington earlier in December.
