A 20-year-old man is facing felony charges after allegedly making bomb threats against John F. Kennedy High School.  Police arrested Marcial Kittypong Loto on Tuesday afternoon. He was charged Wednesday in the Superior Court of Guam with attempted terroristic conduct, a third-degree felony.

According to court documents, Guam Police were already responding to JFK when dispatch received an anonymous call claiming a student had threatened to bomb the school. A second threat was reported later that day.

Investigators later linked the calls to Loto after discovering voice messages he had sent to a female student earlier that morning. Police say his voice matched the anonymous calls, and his phone number was traced to his workplace, where he was taken into custody.

After his arrest, Loto allegedly claimed his phone had been hacked and denied making the calls. However, court documents state he later admitted to making the bomb threat while continuing to insist he was hacked.

No explosive device was found, and the investigation remains ongoing.
