Three new apprentices were recognized Thursday at a Guam Contractors Association luncheon for completing their skilled training programs, in partnership with the Guam Department of Labor.

The graduates include Nathaniel Chaco, who earned his certificate as an operating engineer, Christopher Siguenza, who completed heavy equipment operation training, and Jaynard White, who received his electrician certificate after 20 years with DOCOMO Pacific.

Governor Lou Leon Guerrero praised the graduates, saying their success shows Guam can build skilled talent locally and strengthen the workforce.

Lt. Governor Josh Tenorio added that their achievements offer real career pathways and inspire the next generation.

GDOL Director David Dell’isola noted the importance of apprenticeship programs, hoping their success encourages more participation by individuals and companies across the island.
