GTA Gives teaches island elderly how to use digital tech

Dozens of our island's elderly were treated to a fun, interactive workshop by GTA this weekend. The latest Mobile Man'amko event saw digital-savvy staffers help residents 60 and older how to use smartphones and take advantage of connected services.
Earle Nino from the SmartCenter team told KUAM News, "Today, we're just teaching our man'amko how to use their phones, trying to let them understand how to use their phones, and how to get on the Internet."
So don't be surprised if Nana or Auntie Teri suddenly adds you to a a WhatsApp group they just created and shows you how to optimize your WiFi network. Because GTA's given The Greatest Generation the tools to thrive online.
