A good deed turned dangerous in Mangilao — after a woman who stopped to help what she believed was a stranded motorist was allegedly robbed and assaulted. Now, two men are behind bars.

Guam Police have arrested 45-year-old Eric Quenga Flores — who was the subject of a wanted person flyer — and 31-year-old Jenner Selbart Ngiraibuuch.

The victim told police she pulled over on November 11 when she saw a vehicle on the roadway… but one of the men attacked her, stole her jewelry, then took her car and drove off. Investigators say the second man fled in another vehicle, leaving the woman alone on the road.

Police later found her vehicle abandoned in Dededo. Detectives tracked flores to another car — believed to belong to Ngiraibuuch — who was located on November 18, also in Dededo.

Both men were brought to gpd headquarters for questioning and have since been booked and confined at th e Department of Corrections, with the case now under review by the attorney general.

According to GPD, Flores faces a long list of alleged offenses — including multiple counts of robbery, aggravated assault, motor vehicle theft, and other charges. Police say four separate cases have been generated in connection to him.

More details could be released if the AG files formal charges.
