Multiple people arrested in coordinated drug bust in Maite apartment

Seven people are behind bars after a coordinated drug bust at a Maite apartment on Thursday.
Drug Task Force Officers executed a search warrant at two units in the Plumeria Estates Apartments in Maite on Thursday morning.
Officers discovered and seized suspected methamphetamine, a glass pipe, a firearm, a digital scale and three cellphones, among other evidence inside the units.
The events led to the arrest of Sergio Cruz, Peachy Pineda, Kenneth Reyes, Gregory Reese, Tricia Matagolai, Noah Cepeda, and Felicia Quinata.
Court documents state Cepeda was the subject of the search. During a safety check, detectives found a black shopping bag in his pocket that contained a chambered, Sig Sauer 9mm handgun with 15 rounds in its magazine.
The firearm was seized by an ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) Task Force officer who confirmed the gun was reported stolen.
Cepeda is charged with possession of a firearm without a firearms identification card, possession of an unregistered firearm and possession of a concealed firearm.
Pineda, Reese, Reyes, Matagolai and Quinata have been charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance,
Additionally, one of the men arrested, Reese, is also facing charges for two counts of theft of an automobile, robbery, two counts of family violence and criminal trespass in multiple separate cases.
