Guam Community College will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony this Friday, Nov. 7, at 9 a.m. to celebrate the completion and reopening of its newly renovated Student Success Center.

The project, which began in July 2022, expanded Building B to 6,000 square feet, more than double its original size, and creates a modern one-stop service area for students.

The center will house GCC’s assessment and counseling department, ID card services, security, and a new computer lab on the second floor.

Designed to meet leed environmental standards, the $6.3 million project was funded through the Governor’s education stabilization fund and GCC’s capital projects fund.
