Guam Guard: "No upcoming deployment from Pentagon order"

The Pentagon is said to be preparing to activate thousands of National Guard troops from all 50 states to respond to possible “civil unrest.” This follows multiple media reports detailing internal documents that outline these plans.
According to the documents, reviewed by both The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal, the Trump Administration is training more than 20,000 Guard members as a “quick reaction force” — with “civil unrest training,” and ready to deploy by April 1.
KUAM News reached out to an official with the Guam National Guard, who said there is “No upcoming deployment from a Pentagon order. It’s just identifying who’s going to be on the team should the need arise”.
