The Department of Public Health and Social Services confirms Guam’s special supplemental nutrition program for women, infants, and children (WIC), remains fully operational despite the ongoing federal government shutdown. 

All island clinics continue to provide food benefits, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referral services to eligible families. DPHSS thanks the Leon Guerrero Administration for quickly identifying local funds earlier this month to sustain those benefits when federal dollars were delayed — ensuring no family went without support.

WIC clients are reminded their October benefits remain redeemable at all authorized vendors. You can also track your balance and updates through the free EzWIC app, available on the iOS App Store and Google Play.
