Tower for Humanity’s One Za’abeel Set for Completion; 3rd Annual Cans for Humanity kicks off this weekend

The Tower for Humanity’s one za’abeel toy timber tower is set to be completed Friday afternoon at the Agana Shopping Center.
The project used approximately 102,000 toy timber logs, making it the largest of the Tower for Humanity series and unofficially the world’s largest toy timber structure.
Following completion, the center court will host the 3rd Annual Cans For Humanity Food Drive and Competition, in partnership with be heartfelt, to support children in need across Guam.
Sixteen teams will build creations with collected food items on Saturday, Oct. 4.
Public viewing and voting takes place Sunday, October 5, from noon to four, with an awards ceremony at five, after which donated food will be distributed to local be heartfelt pantries.
