The University of Guam’s Regional Center For Public Policy recently hosted a 43-member delegation of Taiwan Young Ambassadors, highlighting regional collaboration in the Indo-Pacific.

The delegation joined a panel on Aug. 29th at UOG featuring Congressman James Moylan, Speaker Frank Blas Jr., retired USMC Captain Charlie Hermosa, and RCPP fellow Joseph Vitt Jr. discussions covered leadership, regional security, public policy, and Guam's strategic role in the region.

During their visit, the ambassadors met with local leaders, engaged with students and community members, and explored opportunities for economic, cultural, and educational collaboration.

RCPP Director Chirag Bhojwani said the program strengthens Guam's voice in Indo-Pacific affairs while cultivating future leaders.

He also thanked Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Guam Taipei Economic And Cultural Office for their partnership.
