GDOE superintendent screening set for September 29

As KUAM News previously reported, seven applicants are in the running to become the next superintendent of the Guam Department of Education. At Tuesday’s Guam Education Board meeting, officials announced that once the screening process is completed on September 29 at 1pm, the names of the applicants will be made public.
Board chair Angel Sablan says a press conference is scheduled for Monday, October 13, at noon to formally present the qualified contenders for GDOE's top post.
Sablan added that if the process goes as planned, a selection could be made by October 21.
If not, the board will continue deliberations until a decision is reached.
The chair noting no current board member has applied for the job.
