A man wanted in several theft cases and accused of fleeing police earlier this summer is back in custody.

Court documents state 31-year-old Raymond Sablan Laguana II was arrested early Monday after a woman in Yona called police asking to have him removed from her home. Officers found Laguana asleep on the couch.

Laguana is charged with drug possession, misdemeanor theft, and two counts of petty misdemeanor theft.

Investigators linked him to multiple incidents in May, including gas drive-offs at Hagåtña and Yona Mobil stations, and to the theft of a water blaster and a ring camera in Agana Heights.

Back in June, officers spotted Laguana but say he ran into the jungle and escaped. A glass pipe with methamphetamine residue was recovered from the vehicle he abandoned.

Now, after months of searching, police say Laguana will finally face the charges in superior court.
